“Troubled? Then stay with me, for I am not.” ~Hafiz
Hi Friends,
I hope you are enjoying the last bright blooms of summer, late dahlias and zinnias, golden evening light, still warm afternoons. I’m savoring afternoon iced coffee on a warm chair in my backyard, and sunset dog walks.
I’m currently rearranging my studio work space to better serve all of what I do, which is really creative recovery, through Wayfinder life coaching and/or guided art making.
So, I realized I needed a longer work table. At the store I couldn’t lift the boxes into my cart, so I asked someone for help. The boxes were loaded into my cart and then into my car in no time.
A few moments later, I noticed my front tire was almost flat. I felt a slight panic as I actually haven’t had a lesson in how to pump up tires since I was 16. Knowing I could likely figure it out but also wary of how low the tire was, I decided to navigate to a tire center.
I asked for help, and while I sat in my car the tire professional filled up the tire for me and I scheduled a repair.
A younger version of me thought she had to do everything on her own, to prove how strong and independent she was. I like this 44 year old version of me who is willing to ask for help. It still feels a little vulnerable each time, and yet, things get resolved more efficiently. I feel empowered by asking for and receiving help.
At the heart of my coaching and my art making practice, is a cultivation of self awareness, a deepening of one’s inner and outer congruence. For my clients this results in more peace, simple steps forward, a release of stress, an increase in creative habits, ideas and ways of being. With coaching, things get resolved much more efficiently. My clients are empowered to be more of themselves in the world.
Curious? You can email me here to set up a discovery call, it’s a chat and 30 min of free coaching, with zero obligations.
In love & creativity,
Anna Marie
