Hello dear humans!
This week I’m feeling into a watery soft space that seems to be surrounding my heart. Visually it came out in the above watercolor I made while on the phone with my sister last week. I am floating here… where there is sorrow, grief, loss, completion, open space and quiet. And also some “joyfulness breaking through” as the late, great Leonard Cohen said.
How about a short love list of creations by wonderful people I admire and know in real life (!) and that I highly recommend you check out.

Cara Jones, podcast: Untethered Voice
“Hosted by former Emmy award-winning journalist, storyteller, visibility guide and human cheeseball Cara Jones, Untethered Voice will take you on one woman’s ongoing journey to find her voice. The wisdom and amazing humans you meet along the way will move and compel you to dig deeper, create and say more.”
I personally just completed a year in a visibility course with Cara and she has helped me immensely in finding the courage to use my voice and explore my own story.Never One Thing a song by May Erlewine
Okay, I have not met May in person, but a friend of mine has met her, and another unrelated friend shared this song with me a few years ago. Today it came on in my car and singing along to it was just the medicine I needed to reconnect to my many parts. Maybe it could support you in this way too.
“I’m the underbelly, I am the claw
Never one thing no, not one thing at all
I'm a street fighter, I'm a prayer for peace
I'm a holy roller, I'm a honey bee.
I am the truth, I am a lie
I am the ground, I am the sky
I am the silence, I am the call
Never one thing no, not one thing at all” -May Erlewine
with love,
Anna Marie
